Claudex

Codex GPT models inside the Claude Code interface

A free, open source bridge that runs Codex GPT models through the Claude Code terminal. One command installs it, it reuses the Codex login already on your machine, and every download is verified before it runs.

Claudex is a launcher, not a fork. Nothing about the signed Claude Code binary ever changes: Claudex starts an isolated profile, points it at a private local bridge on your own machine, and routes every request to your own authenticated Codex account. Friendly aliases put Sol, Terra, and Luna one slash command away, and Solplan plans with Sol then hands the build to Terra automatically. The status line stays honest: real context accounting with automatic compaction near 280k tokens, plus your actual 5 hour and 7 day Codex windows always in view. Installing is one command on macOS, Linux, Windows, and WSL, every binary is pinned and verified with SHA-256, and it quietly keeps itself up to date.
